Squaring Off Your Quilts
I know everyone has their ‘own’ way of doing things when it comes to quilting. I know I do:)
I always wondered how everyone else squares off their quilt tops?

Biscuit Dough
Did you know that you can make biscuits as usual and keep them at room
temperature for hours or in the refrigerator for longer periods of time?
The dough will not rise outside of the oven. It is the oven’s heat that makes
the biscuit rise, not the moisture. Food for thought:)

Quilt Binding My Way
This is the way I do my binding for all my quilts. I have found this the most attractive on a finished quilt.
Cut your strips 3.0″ wide. Sew your strips together diagonally. If you sew your strips straight up and down, this will cause your quilt to curve and you don’t want that to happen! So sew your strips diagonally:) Press your strips in half and sew your binding using your 5/8″ presser foot. This is your regular sewing foot on your machine. Try it and let me know how it worked for you!
